Sandy Cabrera (Production Stage Manager) is excited to be back and continue working with MTYP. She is currently at Wichita State University pursuing a BFA in Theatre Design & Technology and the Stage Management Certificate. Some of her favorite credits at WSU include: Guys and Dolls (Stage Manager), The 39 Steps (ASM-II), Violet (Wig Designer), Die Fledermaus (Wig Designer), and The Trojan Women (Wig Designer). She has also been a guest speaker (Stage Management and Make-up Workshops) for several Wichita surrounding high schools, Girl Scout troops, and CYT Wichita. Sandy has worked for the past four seasons as a Hair/Wig/Makeup Assistant with Music Theatre Wichita, her favorites include: Catch Me If You Can, Disney’s Mary Poppins, Les Miserables, Singin’ in the Rain, Disney’s The Little Mermaid and Sunset Boulevard. Sandy would like to thank Maddie, Kim, Sierra, the MTYP Artistic Staff & Cast, and her family and friends for all their unending love and support. Phil. 2:14-15.
Tyler Gallegos-Lessin (Lighting Designer) A native of Wichita, KS, Tyler is thrilled to return to MTYP after designing lighting for the 2014-2015 season. As a student at Wichita State University, he studied under critically acclaimed lighting designer David Neville, serving as his Assistant Lighting Designer at Music Theatre Wichita for four seasons. Tyler has served as the Resident Lighting Designer for both Wichita Grand Opera and The Forum Theatre since 2011. Design credits include: The Rocky Horror Show, Shrek! The Musical, Sweeney Todd (Mary Jane Teall Award nomination), Annie Get Your Gun, and Chicago (Crown Uptown); The Mystery of Irma Vep, (Mary Jane Teall Award nomination) Driving Miss Daisy, Cabaret, & The Full Monty (Forum Theatre) William Tell, Le Nozze Di Figaro, Il Trovatore, (Wichita Grand Opera), Urinetown (Wichita State University). Tyler would like to thank Kim Vines, Maddie Nevins, and the MTYP management staff for this fantastic opportunity, and Kyle for his love & support.
Sharon Funk (Costumer)
Madelynn Nevins (Scenic Designer/Props Master/ Production Manager) is excited to return to MTYP for another season. She spent this last summer as Assistant Lighting Designer at Music Theatre Wichita. Her free time throughout the year is spent in many different design capacities for various companies such as Laughing Feet Performers, Mosley Street Melodrama, Wichita State University, and Prairie Pines Dinner Theatre. Madelynn would like to thank everyone at MTYP, MAB, her family, and fur babies for their support.
